Electric Vehicles & Eco Transport
The number and models of electric vehicles (EVs) on the Australian market continues to grow rapidly. ZEN aims to help Noosa residents navigate the choices to make the driving decision right for them. We are also keen proponents of electric public transport and electric boats on our pristine waterways.

2025 Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo
The most recently held EV & Electrify Everything Expo received larger exhibitor and visitor numbers than previous years and was enjoyed by all who attended. It was wonderful to see that interest & enthusiasm for Electric Transport & Electrifying Everything is on the rapid increase. Don’t miss the next Expo on 22 June 2025.
EV Chargers in Noosa
Up to 90% of EV charging in Noosa takes place in the owners own home. However, as any EV driver visiting Noosa would be aware, there are limited public charging options around town; although gradually more private venues are seeing the benefits of offering their guests charging options. Working together with the Noosa Council, ZEN is researching the optimal number, location and types of EV chargers.
Electrify the river
Electric vehicles don't just have wheels! An increase in the number of electric boats and other water crafts on the Noosa River will contribute to reduced carbon emissions and noise pollution, and make our overall outdoor experiences more enjoyable. ZEN is developing strategies to help facilitate this transition.
